Michele Tafoya is a three-time Emmy Award winning journalist and TV host based in the Twin Cities.
Minneapolis is home-base for Michele’s family, and she is a major advocate for health and wellness in her local community. She openly shared her experience struggling with an eating disorder earlier in her career, and understands how hard it is to maintain good health. “I’ve battled my weight my entire life. Trust me, I get the ups and downs of this process,” says Michele.

A pioneer in women’s sportscasting, Michele made history when she was the first woman to call television play-by-play of an NCAA tournament game in 1996. Her illustrious career spans major networks such as CBS Sports, ABC Sports, ESPN, WCCO Television and NBC Sports.
