Deviled Eggs – Two Ways

  • Traditional Deviled Eggs
  • 12 whole eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
  • 12 whole eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 tsp spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Avocado Deviled Eggs
  • 12 whole eggs
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup dried red onion
  • 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Method

    Traditional Deviled Eggs
    Hard boil and peel eggs.
    Cut eggs in half, remove yolks and place into a bowl.
    Put egg whites on to plate.
    Mix yolks with mayo, mustard, salt and pepper.
    Fill each egg white with 1/24 of the yolk mixture.
    Sprinkle paprika on top
    Per Serving: 1 Lean-0 | 1 Extra
    Avocado Deviled Eggs
    Cut boiled eggs in half lengthwise
    Scoop out yolks and mash them together with avocado
    Put mixture back into egg whites
    Garnish with paprika
    Per Serving: 1 Lean-0 | 1/4 Healthy Fat | 1/4 Extra
